First class guest house with really friendly hosts. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked and presented. Our hosts even gave us a lift to the race course which was the reason for our visit. Plenty of parking and lovely outdoor seating. Could not fault it at all. Well worth checking out, especially for Pontefract races.
Dee was a superb hostess, she did everything to make our stay as good as possible - even moved brekfast an hour earlier to suit us. Room was very clean and very well kept. Perfect location for our needs, and some lovely bacon and egg in the morning, Thanks Dee

I'm currently staying for the weekend with my husband and 3 children (6m-3y-6y old) at my mum's recommendation, as she stays here whenever she's visiting family here, and it is absolutely the loveliest guesthouse we've ever stayed at. The rooms are clean and spacious, the shower in our room is a dream compared to our own at home. The breakfast provided was delicious - there's a big range of cereals, pastries, yogurt and fruit laid out, and the option to have bacon and/or eggs with toast (which tasted great). The owner is super friendly and the service has been amazing so far. We'll definitely be back here the next time we're up to visit family here! My 3 and 6 year old are loving it
We had a lovely stay even as a one night stop over. The room was clean, spacious and we had a comfy nights sleep. The owner Dee was welcoming, and very helpful. A lovely couple and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and breakfast. We’d stay there again. Recommended!
Great friendly staff that went above and beyond to cater for my family for my nana wake. we appreciated it so much all the extra care and attention to detail They even did me a gluten-free and dairy free platter an soup, and dessert selection.
